1.8" HDD Speeds how do diff make/models compare?

    I've fitted a MK4008GAH to my AAO using the standard cable without modification, just a little persuasion to fit the ZIF cable into the LIF socket.

    Its now tripple booting Backtrack 4 Beta, XP Home and Linpus, but Linpus is definately slower to boot than from SSD.

    Has anybody got any comparison HDD benchmarks from Atto or hdparm for their drives?

    Under Backtrack my MK4008GAH does
    Cached reads: 617.08MB/sec
    Buffered reads: 14.44MB/sec

    Under Acer's XP Home

    Anybody getting significantly better from a different drive?
