    Hi,

I'm installing iDeneb 1.4 and after that I'm going to upgrade to 10.5.7 with the upgrade kit.

I looked for tutorials on the web and all were from a few months ago or even before that. I saw the tweaks for the Aspire One, but I don't know if they're the latest ones. Maybe there are newer kexts/tweaks.

I was wondering if someone could update us with the latest kexts and tweaks (such as keyboard ISO fix, RGB color, sdhc, etc.)
So we can collect all the latest kexts in one package which everyone can use after installing a fresh OSX.
Like the ....'s MSI Wind pack but for Aspire One :D

When we have all the latest kexts/tweaks collected, I'll make a tutorial on how to install OSX 10.5.7 ultimate on our Aspire One's :)

So be sure to include the LATEST kext and ALL tweaks you know about for the Acer Aspire One !

hey, i dont know much about ideneb, as i have used iatkos. i prefer it to ideneb because i dont need a separate mac or an external dvd drive to install it.

i do not believe there are any new kexts out yet.

for upgrading to 10.5.7, i just dloaded the combo update from apple and then modified yohko101's instructions at viewtopic.php?f=14&t=14122&start=20&

    1. dload and install the update
    2. reboot into single-user mode by the flag "-s"
    3. do the /fsck and /mount as instructed
    4.
    Code:
        cd /System/Library/Extensions
        rm -r AppleIntel*
        cd ..
        rm Extensions.mkext
        shutdown -r now
    5. you should be able to login and such
    6. reinstall part 1 from diablo's kexts and reinstall the gma950.pkg
as for battery life, i have neither the stock battery nor any real benchmarks, but with the 9-cell battery, it says i can get a 7hrs on a full battery

ps: after i rebooted after reinstalling the kexts and whatnot, i ran into a kernal panic, but it only happened once and the next reboot was successful.

lol, I thought, 10.5.7 would mess up the graphics!
    Entire screen: Command(House/Windows key) + Shift + 3
    Area: Command + Shift + 4
Window: same as area but press space before clicking.

If you JUST want a screenshot, use the combinations I posted, it saves automaticly to the desktop. If you want to edit them you might want to use Graphics Converter (shareware). It's somewhere between paint and photoshop.
