    Hi all,

What is the best way to correct the info on "About this Mac" dialog? Mine still shows Intel Core Solo instead of Atom.

I tried some fix pkg for this, but my system is in Brazilian Portuguese, and I believe that these pkg just work for the English.lproj folder...

Any linkage to the audio kext? I'm on a ideneb installation, I got my AAO running again thanks to the instructions in this thread. I just lost audio.

    Thanks

I actually just used the same method as the Kalyway installation fix for sound drivers and it worked with no issues... the insanelymac forum has an audio fix that works (scroll down halfway down the page to Sound drivers). After this, my sound works great... there are links to all .kexts you need on this page:

I am also using an iDeneb install, so this should work the same for you.

    Thanks semis :)

I followed the link on insanelymac, and updated iDeneb 1.4 on my AOA 150 without any problems.

    All working fine :)

EDIT : I also had to reinstall the 10.5.5 seatbelt.kext for the 9.5.0 voodoo kernel, as the kernel panics when mounting .dmg files was back after the upgrade

Rrrrrrright, now i remember... had to do that too.

I just wondered - i just deleted the new seatbelt.kext, rebooted and everything worked very well - weird, eh?
I installed the 10.5.5 one a few days later, just in case... i dunno, maybe we don't need a seatbelt at all, hmmm? ;)

Hi .... spend a day setting up AAO .... just bought it yesterday @ the PC Show here in Singapore.
And now I have a near perfect Acertosh .... thanks to all who contributed to this noble cause :)

There are 2 areas which I need help with .... and appreciate pointers or direct solutions.

    a) Bluetooth .... I can seems to get it to work upon boot-up. I need to press the BT button and re-install IOBluetoothFamily.kext ... only then the BT appears and I can use my BT mouse.
    b) Webcam ... any idea to know whether is this functional. How can I test this or do I need a driver.

Help and advice on the above 2 is much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Carpe,

Follow the Insanelymac link from Semis, 5 posts above this.

Works great with IDeneb and the install guide link you gave :)

Does anyone else have problems mounting .iso images? .dmg works fine after replacing the seatbelt.kext but .iso causes kernel panics every time I try it.
