    Can you explain a little more about those Kext ...

    Where did they come from ?
    For which machine you post that ?


    The atheros package make the wifi car of the Acer Aspire One AOA150 working or not ?

    i suggest not to mix and match your kext's unless you know what you are doing.

    10.6(snow leo) is different from 10.5(leo)

    the upgrade is usually for working kext's in 10.5 that didn't work in 10.6

    I have tried sound kext on my d250 but only external mic work.
    Also if i remove voodo hda then no sound will load at startup .
    I noticed lately now and again at bootup get kp with voodoo hda kext
