    That's me
The AA1 is designed for a particular market, and it works very well from what I have seen so far. It is not a laptop[/quote]
Now here's where I disagree. It's got twice the RAM *1 GB vs. 512 MB), twice the number of threads in the CPU (2 vs. 1), three times the number of USB slots, and twice the HDD space (120GB vs. 60 GB) of my previous laptop. Yeah, the keyboard is a little smaller, and screen real estate is only 78% of what I previously had, but I'm doing a lot less messing around to get wireless working and no messing around t get graphics working under Linux, and I've got two SD card reader slots, one of which will even read my xD cards (under Linpus and WInXP, neither of which I use very much at all)

Well, I have a different perspective perhaps.
I use a company Dell C2D laptop, (weighs a ton compared to the Acer) but the AA1 is perfect for web and email (I have the 8Gb SSD Linux version).
So I have ordered a couple of 8Gb SDHC cards to carry my work manuals around on instead of 3 DVDs.
It is a powerful and versatile machine for it's size, indeed. :)
