My LCD TV can achieve a max of 1366 x 768 over Dsub, and I'd like to be able to watch some movies on there from time to time, as well as possibly browse images etc.

Under the Intel 945 driver that installs with Win 7 (currently running the 7100 trial, but will shortly put a proper legal full version on) 1366 x 768 isn't an option.

(Bizarrely the best option at the moment seems to be 1400 x 1050, which the TV isn't supposed to support!).

Does anyone know of a way of forcing the graphics driver to output 1366 x 768?

(This is on AOA 150, u/g 1.5Gb RAM, 120GB HDD)

    Cheers!

Just to answer my own post, in the end I tracked down powerstrip which seems to have it working nicely.

    YMMV.

Just to update the thread, this all works flawlessly under Win 7 Home Premium with 1.5GB RAM on an AOA150 (blue, in case you wondered!)

However, it does struggle to render divx movies smoothly at 1366 x 768 resolution. Good for browsing though.
