The specs online say 1 slot with 2 GB max.
BIOS reports 2 slots with 4 GB max.

Would like to upgrade the memory but I don't want to dissemble the netbook to find out and have to dissemble it again to install the RAM.

    Anybody know for sure?

Typically speaking, the first "slot" is a 512mb chip that is soldered directly to the motherboard and is not removable. The second slot is actually the only slot you can use for expansion. Installing a 2Gb chip in this slot will increase your memory to the maximum (2Gb) by automatically disabling the 512Mb on board RAM. Do a quick search for your model though, some people have been reporting the ability to install a 4Gb chip in some models, so regardless of what the Acer site says, you may be able to squeeze a bit more than 2Gb in, still in ONE chip though.
