AA1 SSD and the battery won't charge. The orange light flashes while I'm trying to charge it but it never turns green. Computer won't power up unless power cord is attached. Computer dies when power cord is removed.

    Any ideas? Thanks

I figured this one out myself after some experimentation. The power cord is very "touchy" when it comes to recharging the battery. I just kept twisting and turning it until the light turned green. It stopped during the charge so I had to fiddle with it again. Hope this helps someone else.

Maybe so susanisk but if the cord is touchy it shouldn't be able to turn the aao on at all unless you fiddle with the wire, right? If I'm correct it shouldn't be the reason that the 3 cell doesn't charge. My 3 cell battery died on me a short while ago, I tried to use/charge it with a friends aao but it doesn't work with his either. The guy in the store told me that the battery only has a 6 month warrenty so I'm desperately looking for the receipt now xD unless someone else might be able to come up with a reason/solution..

oh, ps, my aao cord works just fine so it might just be my battery..
