My Windows machine (AOA 150-1126) has 3 card slots (on right, left and behind battery)

I understand these can be used to add additional memory to the system.
Which of these slots should I use?

How large a SD card will the computer handle?

    Thanks!

32gb does work but i read some articles that the read/write is very slow in comparisson to the 16gb SD card..i use the 16gb and its not that bad..

but yeah it supports the max that is on the market..

Are all 3 of these slots 'SD'?

Which part of my XP machine will be improved by adding memory this way?

Adding standard RAM is over my head.

Left slot is SDHC. Right is multi-card (ie, SD, Memorystick, xD), rear is SIM if your using a 3G mobile broadband card.

Do either of the front two slots add to functional memory (RAM)?

I want to increase performance without having to open the case to add RAM.

I have a 160 hard drive with XP.

    Thanks!

No, left and right slots add storage, not RAM.
