3g won't work after reformatting.

    My godson's AOA150 accidentally met a couple of magnets. The damage needed a reformatting and reinstallation to repair. The problem seems to be that the fellow who did the repair installed Vista instead of XP, with which it came. It runs faster with Vista but the 3g doesn't work. We've installed a new sim card from the 3g provider and the drivers from Acer. Still no 3g. Do we have to reinstall XP to get the 3g to work? Any ideas?

    The only thing you can suspect is drivers. Are you sure drivers you installed are for Vista??
