532h resolution / hd video / XP or Win7

    Hi,

    I just bought an Aspire 532h (AO532h-2676).

    The max. resolution is 1024x600. In my understanding the 532h has 1280x720 ?
    Also watching an HD video is almost impossible, it stops about each second.
    Would XP give a better performace than Win 7 ?

    The 532h has a standard 10.1" screen, 1024x600. The only way you'll get higher resolution is with an external monitor.

    Its very difficult to get HD video playback on a 532h OOTB. You can add a Broadcom Crystal HD board, however, that will provide excellent HD video capabilities with very low CPU usage.
