I bought this one, had it delivered in 7 days, hong kong to UK, had 3h 50 min out of the box and after a full charge went up to 7h 40 - I'm running windows xp pro on A150 with wireless on

after you get over the initial shock of the size, the extra bit this battery gives makes life a bit easier when rested on your lap etc, no major change to weight

Waiting for it to be shipped to me from dealextreme. Placed the order yesterday and will give details of the battery when I recieve it.

 

I have bought many great things from Dealextreme. Only problem is the shipping time, since they are on the other side of the planet.

 

Hi. what is the weigth of the battery? can anyone post images netbook with battery?

 

Mine was shipped from dealextreme today the 18th. Will post pictures and test results of it when I recieve it later this week.

 

I just received one today....its huge and heavy. fairly nice looking though.

3 cell 165gr
9 cell 470gr ( hair over a pound)

I am having a problem with the notebook not knowing that battery is in place....seems its not making a connection on the ac side. I need to pull out the battery a bit on this corner for it to be recognized and charge. Not unlatch it or anything just a small click of an adjustment. The adjust is not necessary to run off the battery...but the power manager thinks its on ac unless this tweak is done.

I'll tell you though...the first time I go to bed thinking this thing is charging and it doesn't...I am gonna be pissed.

Cant comment on battery life yet..it arrived 80% charged and after ~2 hours is still only 97% charged.

price has dropped to under $51 delivered...I am sure this will fluctuate.

Capacity: 97%
this is values from my new (1 month used) original 3cell battery.

 

I dont seem to have info in that format within notebook batteryinfo.

when fully charged it does indicate:

78943mWh
7hr 46min of time remaining running xp with everything on, backlight minimum and one charge cycle on the battery
-10045mW power consumption
100%

Recived mine yesterday. It was 45 % charged. BatteryMon shows full charge capacity of 82240 mWh. Manufacturer is Simplo. Voltage 11.65 Volts And Charge Rate 9801mW. Charge cycles: N/A. The battery lifts the aspire one about 2cm. The battery sticks 2 cm out behind the aspire one. Rounded shape. Will post pictures later.

Can anyone confirm that this is an actual 7200mAh and not a 6600mAh in disguise (as many of these batteries seem to be)? I'd hate to add all the size and weight then only get the performance of 6600mAh! Thanks.

 

If the voltage is around 11.9 that would put the battery at 6633 mAh ( 78943/11.9 ).

Take a look under corrent values and see what the voltage is. (With ac unplugged)

 

Looks a good battery for the price I'll get one!

I share your worry when purchasing batteries. Buying a battery and then discovering that it has capacity significantly lower than what you expect - makes you feel cheated.

You should've divided by 11.1V, not 11.9V.


I look forward to screenshots of battery-capacity-measuring-programs for this battery! Can someone please upload them?
