751h GMA500 OpenGL! Finally! [Windows 7]

    Searched the net for any news regarding the poor support for OpenGL on GMA500 and stumbled upon this post regarding GMA 500 on Sony VAIO P.
    Someone has taken the latest EMGD drivers and modified them to work for Sony Vaio P.

    Since the VAIO P has a screen resolution of 1600x768, I took those already modified drivers and edited the file "igdlh32.inf".

    I changed the line:
    Code:
    HKR, ALL\1\Port\4\Dtd\1 , HorzActive, %REG_DWORD%, 1600
    to
    Code:
    HKR, ALL\1\Port\4\Dtd\1 , HorzActive, %REG_DWORD%, 1366
    Finally, Angry Birds on my Packard Bell Dot M.NCD/70 (Aspire 751h clone)!

    I have tried the IEGD-drivers before, but that driver disabled brightness settings, also sleep mode wouldn't work.

    Please note that I did not try the latest EMGD-drivers before trying these modified ones.
    Perhaps the EMGD-drivers works right away, but I'm not keen on uninstalling to try it out.

    Did what you said! everything works great! but flashplayer/youtube crashes, "memory could not be read" error.

    "Instruction at 0x1012725f reference memory at 0x00000000. the memory could not be read."

    Tried reinstalling flash & browser, but nothing changed till I simply uninstalled the driver. Do you have any suggestions?

    nm! deactivated flash hardware acceleration, & thanks to ccleaner system is even faster.

    Finally indeed!
    I too can confirm the functioning of this driver on my Acer Aspire ONE 0751h !
    3 years after buying this netbook and 1 year after installing Windows7 on it, finally able to use OpenGL!
    Youtube still not very good, but it never was at this netbook. Can't say it video's play better / smoother.
    Angry Birds in Space runs allright.
    Brightness keys work.
    MPC-HC 1.6.4.6052 works fine.
    Before this driver, I had Intels 8.14.10.2011

    Tested on 0751h, Windows7 SP1 + all updates till 15-10-2012
    Firefox 16.01, Flash 11.4.402.287
    Very clean windows, no backgroundprograms ( 27 processes total)
