7800 mAh Xtreme battery available

Hi

I got this big battery (7800mAh) last monday. Is there a problem with the battery or the charger because the light never turns to green when charging and the
charge level only goes up to 67%? I've charged it four times since I got it.

67% of 9 cells is 6 cells.
Can you run something like Battery Bar or Notebook BatteryInfo and report back with the Designed and Actual Capacity values?
Also, can you weigh the battery? A 6-cell weighs around 320g and a 9-cell around 480g

 

I don't know anything about Battery Bar or Notebook BatteryInfo... Sorry

But the battery weighs about 470g. I'm using linux, by the way.

 

The weight is correct for a 9-cell. The battery is constructed using parallel groups of 3 cells. I suspect that there is an internal problem that means that one of the groups is not connected and that your battery is only functioning as a 6-cell and is therefore faulty.

 

I recived my 9-cell two days ago, and must say, it's super! I've managed to get 83700mWh on my second cycle and I'm hoping it will increase even more

 

might want to update the bios for better issues... May help... This link works for windows.. I dont know if there is a linux version to update your bois...
