Does anyone with some tech knowledge know if 802.11n WiFi mini PCI-e cards consume more power than 802.11g cards? Since replacing my stock Atheros 802.11g with an AzureWave 802.11n my AOA-110's battery life does seem reduced (as, obscurely, does the strength of it's WiFi reception...!).

    Cheers.

802.11g and 802.11n are different on the specification level. 802.11n is more powerful standard and as such takes more battery power... However difference is not that huge so you should not notice a massive change...

My 802.11n card works in similar manner - battery's flatting after 7-8 hours of full time use...
