I have been using an Aspire One A110 since August, 2008 and been very satisfied. I decided to upgrade to a D150 to gain the increased screen size, which is great bonus for me. The setup went without any problems.

I created the Recovery CD’s and Driver CD using my external portable CD/DVD burner and proceeded to remove the bloatware. Installed Avast as my anti-virus program and continued with the remaining software I use on a daily basis. The only problem I have encountered is with my Peachtree Complete 2008 which errors on install. I have contacted a local computer service and will resolve this issue on Friday. I need Peachtree working for demo purposes.

Before selecting the D150, I reviewed the Asus, Samsung, Lenovo and MSI in the same screen size and for the price the Aspire was best choice. My opinion is that a Netbook should remain in the 9” to 10” screen size. The concept of small, lightweight and portability are lost as the screen size increases.

I have restored the A110 to factory settings, was fortunate to have received a Linux Restore Disk when I purchased the system. The modifications to the system included a 20 gig zif drive and 1 gig of ram, to permit me to run XP SP3 Professional and Microsoft Office 2000.

Any suggestions on what price I should place on the unit for resale would be appreciated.
