The built in wireless from Atheros really sucks at times, drivers have issues and windows goes wacky sometimes just trying to see networks. I found its just best to replace with another card. i use http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=GN-WS30N-RH&cat=WLS and it only costs 10$. if you know how to install the card and find the drivers its well worth the upgrade

    jjjacer,

I see your GIGABYTE AirCruiser has three antenna connectors. How many antennas are you using? How does it compare with the original athros?

i gave the wrong link, this is the right card http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=GN-WS31N-RH&cat=WLS, it just uses the two radio connectors. so far i noticed a stable signal compared to the atheros, and i get speeds of 134mbps to my linksys wrt110 router. havent tried it in linux but so far i didnt have any problems in windows as i always can see networks unlike the atheros were it wouldnt detect any half the time.
