    Hello everyone,

I've got a few problems with my A110 running Windows 7 RC1 and the Screen Brightness.
I can reduce it with the Keyboard, but even the lowest level is too bright for me and I think
reducing the brightness a little bit more would improve the running time on battery which is actually around 2 Hours.

    Bios is V. 3309.
Someone knows how to handle this? Is there any tool?

E.g. even if I'm watching a movie or stuff like that screen is too bright, would be no problem if it was much darker.

    Some help would be great!

So sorry to hear that you installed windows7 (grin) - if it supports the standard intel graphics driver which normally sits in the right side of the system tray bar at the bottom of the screen, then you can set up schemes which are brighter and dimmer than what the keyboard buttons will provide.

See this link for a discussion of how to do it:

I've been using it on my acer since I got it and couldn't use it in bed at night without this little gem.
