Could someone just confirm the only difference between these models is that the A110 has SSD rather than HDD and that it has 1GB rather than 512MB?

Is the A110 just an addition to the A150 in the model line up?

I read on play that the A110 is due for release Dec 1st - is this a newer model than the A150 or are play just late to the game.

Anyone recommend one over the other?

The A110 was actually released before the A150.

    additional info

110 = 512 built in RAM plus 1 slot for another RAM ( mine was packaged with another 512 MB ram, 1GB total)
can also accomodate XP but you have to format it in FAT32 to be fast,or EWF if you still want to use NTFS

If you are into modding or upgrades..... please be aware that some netbooks with ssd (rather than harddrives) are slimmer in thickness than the corresponding Hard drive equipped model. If so.... this will of course affect size of future components which will fit inside the case and should be kept in mind.

I think that may be true for the AA1, but I am not absolutely certain. I don't own the SSD model and have the HDD model on order, so these comments are based on my initial general research on a variety of netbooks, not a hands on side by side comparison of AA1 models.

I ordered the 6 cell XP 160GB HDD version even though I am ultimately planning to run a version of Linux, because I thought it would give me lots of room to play with partitions and different Linux operating systems, and also still keep XP around in a cage for at least awhile.

    All the best,

Not 100% true. The 150 just means that it has the 2.5" HDD. It can come in 512MB or 1GB, and with XP Home or Linplus.
