A150 Sound

    Hey, I have a quick question for everyone, been working on dual booting my Aspire one, and I have trying the install multiple times for OSX and on the first go round, the OSX install made a startup sound on the boot up, but I partitioned my drive wrong so I did a reinstall, but the next time through there was no startup sound, and only after hitting the Function button and volume up do I get any sound......is this the same for everyone, or should I be getting the startup sounds?
    I have done both iDeneb and iAtk0s installs

    Why do you need a startup sound?
    If sound workd for itunes and stuff, does it matter if you get a startup sound?

    OS X doesn't have a startup sound. The sound you heard first time was probably the "Welcome" OS X intro movie.
    Nothing to worry about.

    Sound works fine on my AAO (iDeneb 10.5.6). The only thing not working is the MUTE button (Fn-F8)...
