AA1 freezes when adding removing software.

    Morning ladies and gents, I'm having a drama with my wife's AA1. The only software I have been able to add is Skype. Anything else seems to cause the window to become unresponsive. This happens when using terminal or add/remove software through the right click. I am trying to add either vlc or realplayer and have read several threads and blogs regarding this. Some are of use but then the AA1 just gives up midway through the process! Thoughts?
