AA1 getting hot after BIOS update

    Anyone have the same problem, i updated to BIOS 3.304 and my AA1 seems to be much hotter then before.

    Can you downgrade BIOS for tests?? Acer changed way the FAN is govern by system. Maybe there is some issue after upgrade...

    Fan noise reduction comes from speeding up the fan at higher temperatures (middle speed threshold temperature is 49 C with the new BIOS). So the reduced noise comes for the price of increased temperature. They timed the change well - the colder season is about to begin, and with less power wasted on the fan, the AAO can keep me warmer for longer time :)
