aa1 linux

    hi , can someone tell me how to partition the hard drive on an aa1 120gb linux as i have no experience of linux and would like to learn how to play around with these things . thanks for any advice you can give :mrgreen:

    As a start point you can look at gparted...

    http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

    This allows partitions to be resized, created etc
    You will need to boot from a Live CD, or a usb stick..... if you don't, you will not be able to mess with the main partition.

    Before you do anything - Backup your files.

    thanks i did look at that gparted but being such a thicko couldn't quite work out what to do although admittidly i was rushing any chnce you could post a step by step walk through many thanks
