    hi i got aao 150-l , with originally 512mb . 160gb sata hdd . i put extra kingston 1gb ddr 533 ram in it so totalling 1.5gb .

i never used hibernate when i had 512mb but i am sure it was pretty fast on my other laptop with 512mb ram . however when i hibernate on aao it takes a good 10 mins to hibernate and i can see blue progress bar move bit by bit . but on resume its very fast .

is it because hibernation got to write 1500mb of data to sata hdd . - anything i can do to speed this hibernation up ? other then removing that `1gb stick .

What OS? My Linux AA1 with 1.5GB hibernates in perhaps 10-15 seconds, mostly because the SSD is so slow to write to.
