AAO 120gb windows xp extra partition

    AAO 120gb XP home pre-installed

    extra partitions,

    when installing xp pro i noticed that there was an extra partiton about 4 gb in size et it had a "-" rather than a drive letter and was named something like utilities

    I just left it alone to reformat the c: partition for windows has anyone come across this? is the "-" partition now unused space?

    It's the recovery partition.
