AAO brightness not sticking

    I just bought 2 AAO D150s, one for me and one for my girlfriend.

    For some reason when I adjust the brightness using the Fn-Right Arrow on my AAO the settings stick between reboots or hibernation (high brightness or low brightness) but for some reason on my GF's it doesnt and always returns to low brightness.

    Does anyone have any idceas on how to rectify this.

    I thought i was a Windows geek (had it since 95 was in Beta) but for some reason I have no clue what the hell is going on here.
