AAO from Vietnam

    causew im not good and dont have time to be online . so i creat this topic to get some help from all of U

    ive got a AAO 8GB SSD . i worked badly when i installed XP and not much better when i installed Mandriva

    i dont plan to used LINUX following my netbook when i bought it

    cause ive used my friend's AAO with 120GB hdd , and its pretty good, what kind of that HDD , i wanna buy 1 for my AAO

    need some help , what should i do with my AAO to have a good performance .

    melhiore is right, you shouldn't create two identical topics. However, I shall try to be more helpful than just pointing that out.

    Firstly, there are XP drivers for the SSD - did you install them? If not, you should.

    Fitting a 2.5" hard disk into the SSD Aspire One is covered in this topic http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/view ... f=43&t=637. Fitting a 1.8" drive is probably considerably easier and tnkgrl has an excellent post here http://tnkgrl.wordpress.com/2008/08/16/ ... ard-drive/ that walks the reader through the process.

    If you aren't used to hacking hardware, you may be better off selling your SSD One and buying a HDD version instead.
