Hope this hasn't already been posted; I took a quick look and didn't see anything.

The Sunday ad for WalMart here in the USA has the 120GB, 1GB RAM Windows version of the AAO advertised for $348. I almost overlooked it, as it as listed as "A Child's Perfect First Computer." Windows and Intel Atom logos are prominent, but Acer name is in very small type under the price.

WalMart online has the 160GB 6 cell version. It is not in any stores near me, though the white One is said to be "in limited stores".

I initially ordered mine from walmart.com for $348.00 about 1 month ago. At the time, they were not carrying them in stores. Not even two days after I ordered mine, I noticed them in the stores. They carry only two models in stores as far as I know. Blue and white 120gb XP machines. No option for linux in the stores. Online they sell them in all colors and nearly all configurations. I have not seen anyone else carry them for a better price.

I went back to the store recently and picked up a white model for my wife for Christmas. The one I ordered online was the blue XP model.
