Acer 10.1 sound not working

    Hi,

    Got OSX 10.5.5 I think working on my 10 inch. Everything is good except the sound. I've been trawling for days but alas nothing. Tried the normal kext that people use for the A150 no joy.

    I installed a modified kext, can't remember the name I will find out though, and OSX saw that I had hardware for the first time in the system prefs I have access to the volume slider whereas previously it was greyed out. Can anyone help?

    try using the voodooHDA kext for the 10.1. there's a link and instructions floating around the boards.
