I thought I would post this for anyone wanting to upgrade RAM in excess of the 4GB manufacturers recommendation.

I upgraded my RAM to 8GB using this kit:
    Crucial CT2KIT51264BC1339

You lose a bit of the 8GB due to BIOS not enabling IOMMU but 7.5 GB is quite enough for me. :)

The RAM is usable in WIndows 7 and Linux (64 bit required).

    Code:
    No AGP bridge found
    Node 0: aperture @ 4b10000000 size 32 MB
    Aperture beyond 4GB. Ignoring.
Your BIOS doesn't leave a aperture memory hole
Please enable the IOMMU option in the BIOS setup
This costs you 64 MB of RAM
Mapping aperture over 65536 KB of RAM @ a4000000
    PM: Registered nosave memory: 00000000a4000000 - 00000000a8000000
    Memory: 7846012k/9437184k available (4639k kernel code, 1312652k absent, 278520k reserved, 2017k data, 372k init)

Also... the Samsung Spinpoint 1T drive works nicely in AO721 if you have a plethora of media to store.

It makes for a somewhat lopsided system with single core AMD K125 but I was able to get both RAM and hard drive for cheap.

    Cheers,
    Ed

What version of BIOS are you using with the 8GB RAM?
