A few days ago i got the black screen of death after logging in. after trying everthing from system recovery to the install new bios(which for the ao756 the fn+esc and pressing on button didn't seem to work) i decided to re-install windows from hard drive. then i got the message saying it couldn't complete recovery (or the like). i pressed ok to continue and it would turn off then turn back on re-installing. after repeating this about 5 times i shut it off and turned it back on and it got stuck in a boot loop. i can't access bios or anything else. please help cause i can't seem to find any where this same problem with this model. i'm running windows 7.

Possible reasons for your problems are corrupted “c” partition
    Corrupted bios though not likely.
    Bad sectors on harddrive.
    Corrupted software.

Does pressing F2 immediately on powering up not work it should, and take you to the bios
    settings page.

You may have to try this many times until your in the bios settings.

You say that you were in the acer system re-installing mode “erecovery”, from the harddrives hidden partition if so then it's good news.

It shows that the bios was working up to this point.

Don't mess with the bios update further.

If and when you see the bios page then check if the harddrive is listed.

If so it should be ok and working.

alt+10 combination should take you to erecovery.

ONLY: If you feel there's nothing to lose then. NOT GUARANTEED!!

You will lose ALL YOUR FILES IF YOU TRY THIS.

Download a program called FDISK from freewarefiles.com This is a dos program that’s run from a cd, it will list all partitions on the harddrive.

Leave the partition starting with PQ can not remember it's full name, delete the “c” partition.
    Then retry the alt+10 combination.
