Just saw the Aspire 1410 on the Acer website. Looks just like the 751h but with different (better) insides:

    Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium ; 32-bit version; Intel® Core™2 Solo Processor SU3500 (3MB L2 cache, 1.40GHz, 800MHz FSB); 2GB (2/0) DDR3 1066 SDRAM; 250GB hard drive; 5-in-1 card reader; Acer® CineCrystal 11.6" WXGA (1366 x 768) TFT display; Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD; 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N WLAN, gigabit LAN, webcam802.11a/b/g/Draft-N WLAN, gigabit LAN, webcam, diamond black chassis Part NumberLX.SA70X.066

Specs on web page also mention 6 cell battery (standard?) and HDMI port. Cool! Good thing my 751h from Costco has a 90 day return... :)

    Check it out at:

Also, did a google search and found a company in the U.S. listing at $465.02 with 1-2 week availability:

Nothing that I can see, other than an actual listing in the product pages at the Acer web site and listing with prices on two U.S. online retailers (also saw CDW has it listed now).

1410 is now available for pre-order from J&R Music World for $449 (less with 10% Bing.com cashback).

They are the same product, for some reason Acer decided to call it the 1410 here in the US.

Why everybody states the 1410 is a renamed 1810T?
They are 2 different machines, mainly being the processor and battery capacity. The 1810T also has bluetooth as standard.

They are both sold on this German website:
    http://www.notebook.de/acer-aspire-timeline-g-1052/

Also, if you look at the Danish Acer website, they are both listed to compare.
    http://www.acer.dk/acer/product.do?link ... 2759084358

Here in Norway, I so far only find the 1410 advertised though neither are listed in Acer's Norwegian website.

In Sweden, the 1810T is available, though neither of them are listed on Acer's Swedish website.

In Denmark, I have only seen the 1410 advertised so far.

I am highly considering trading in my 751h for the 1810T as soon as it shows up here in Norway.

Ok, I see now that the Acer's US website lists the 1410 with the SU3500 processor. But its still without bluetooth and with the small 6 cell battery. Looking forward to hear what people really get when they start buying.

And they get their info from www.notebookreview.com...

    Facts are ..

    1) 1410T & 1810T are both being released..
    2) US Version has Core Solo SU3500, 1.4, VT Support - 1410T
    3) US Version "SEEMS" to also be available as SU1400 , 1.3 Dual Core "Celeron", NO VT Support - 1410TZ
    4) EU Version Celeron - 1410T
    5) EU Version has Core Solo SU3500, 1.4, VT Support - 1810T dont

So bluetooth & 3G seem to up-to the Local Marketing team as the spec states factory option, so if the local Acer does not order it, don't blame Acer in General

This is where it get really confusing ..

In China all specs are available with all CPU's and under both 1410T & 1810T.. the only difference would appear on the surface to be 6 cell v 8 cell (6 hours v 8 Hours)

So welcome to the world of Acer .... who want now to be everything to everybody.... and confuse the majority of us all the time.. as they have seemed to have missed the Marketing 101... KISS Keep It Simple and St*pid... or People will buy the wrong thing.. and end up returning it :)

Yep. The US Versions for preorder show a smaller battery (4400 MAh and 6 hours) and no bluetooth.

They appear to have the 1.4 GHz CULV processor, which is good. But the lower capacity 6-cell battery is unfortunate.
