Acer Aspire 6935g - the touch sensetive control pannel broke

Hi, I have recently perchased an Acer Aspire 6935g laptop from currys digital. It has been working fantasticly but today the touch sensetive control panel on the left hand side (for volume, play pause stop ETC) has stopped working. The panel is frozen with the volume bar fully lit blue and the mute button stuck lit blue. I have tried restarting the computer many times and also have tried restoreing the computer to the settings a few days ago using systen restore yet it is still stuck lit blue! Please help, Sam B :twisted:
