acer aspire a0751h problems in win 7

    i've recently upgraded from xp to win 7 and all was fine. however now and then out of the blue the screen turns off goes blank and the netbook becomes unresponsive and pressing every combination under the sun dosn't seem to do anything either but the lights are on and its still running. i have to manually hold down the power button and turn it back on. this happens about once a day now and there seems to be no obvious pattern as to what might be causing it. ive looked at the event viewer to see if its created a log of any problem but nothing seems to be there. any ideas?
