Acer Aspire E17 pixels and flickering while gaming

    When i turn on any game it starts flickering with pixels (i cant seem to upload an image or video).This happens only on games. I have reinstalled and updated drivers (Geforce 940M). If i disable this GPU and let games run on default intel, than it works. I suspect its more of a software issue than a hardware , since this laptop has only been used to watch movies and use the browser , so there should not have been any serious use of gpu. Any suggestions?
