I have successfully installed IPc 10.5.6. Final but there are several issues:

    - both wireless and wired LAN do not work - new Aspire One uses Atheros wireless and wired LAN cards - no driver
    - it freezes after a while - it may be caused by "sleep mode", I cannot remember how to fix it
    - sound card is different from old Aspire One - need driver!!

I don't have time to try others yet ... will post findings later ....

I have my D250 running iPC 10.5.6, running stock kernel/system.kext and 10.5.7 update. No WiFi/Lan, replacement WiFi card en route. Still toying with Attansic L2 kext, looking for a possible solution. GMA950 Wind pack works perfectly (QE/CI enabled), 10.5.7 "breaks" it. 10.5.6 kexts work (intelframebuffer, etc..), suspecting possible pci id's changed. VoodooHDA works with audio, headphone switching works - no mic? however. WebCam "works", good for snapping pic video has plenty to work on. VoodooPS2Controller vs iPC solution, both work. I prefer Voodoo, more functionality and no "crazy 7 issue with keyboard" experienced with other kext. However, Voodoo randomly stops doin its PS2 thing, then I have to rebuild kextcache and it works.

Anyways, sorry for the rant, it works wonderfullly! Its a perfect compliment to my other hackintosh (8gb x3220 8800gts g92)

Lets see if we can come up with some sort of AOD250 resource thread? Maybe good info from Everest? I had it but didn't save it like an idiot lol! Maybe I'll try and hunt down the service manual, looking for more info on the Lan chipset (maybe wifi too, even tho its being ripped out in a day or so).

    UPDATE:

I'm currently running 10.5.7 on my AspireOne D250, I'm typing this from my Netbook :D !!!!

Just about everything works, I had to replace the onboard card - used a Dell 1510n card. Works out the box pretty much, and it fits perfectly (you can also use any mini pci-e HALF SIZE card, Dell 1510n is A/B/G/N so...).

Onboard LAN is not supported yet, found out it was a Attansic L2C driver. Which is not supported yet, tried messing with dev ids with the L1, L1E and L2 drivers and no go. It would show up, get MAC address but no sign of cable connected.
