Dear all. I know i just created a topic about my laptop. I just took off the back of the laptop, to remove my 1GB ram block, and replace it with a 4GB ram block instead, BUT.. I am confused This is what a danish manufactor site says: Installed size 1 GB Technology DDR3 SDRAM - 1066 MHz Model SO DIMM 204-pin Configurationproperties 1 x 1 GB BUT.... I found this on another site: Crucial DDR3 PC1333 4GB - SO-DIMM Type DRAM Technology DDR3 SDRAM Model SO DIMM 204-pin Modul hight (inches) 1.18 Memoryfrequenzy 1333 MHz ( PC3-10600 ) Will this 4GB - SO-DIMM block fit into my "Acer Aspire One 522 series" notebook? Kindly regards Alex, in case i did not make myself clear, please let me know, and i will try redoing my post.
Yes, it will fit in the slot. However if your operating system is Windows 7 Starter, the computer will only use 2 Gigs of the installed memory. You will need Windows 7 Home Premium or better to use the full 4 Gigs.
