Acer website only contains the Windows 7 drivers.

Sorry about that, must've misread your OP.

Chipset drivers should be available on Intel website.
    * First you'll need to identify which chipset the machine has, so download the Intel Chipset Identification software link
    * Once you've downloaded, installed and run the Intel Chipset Identification program, it'll tell you what chipset you need to get drivers for
    * Then you can go back to the Intel support site and run through the quick questionaire to get the drivers for your OS link
    * The VGA driver is also available on the Intel site, a selection might be available after choosing your chipset, failing that you should now be familiar with the questionaire and able to navigate it to get to your graphics driver

Audio drivers should be available on the Realtek.com.tw website
    * Chances are you'll have the HD Audio CoDec link
    * Lower end machines have the typical AC97 CoDec link
    * If it is the HD Audio CoDec, you'll need to get Windows Update running, or search the Microsoft Download site for the HD Audio update to enable the sound chip.

Card Reader is also a Realtek link

For the other drivers, I can only suggest looking for drivers from the same manufacturer (ALPS touchpad, Atheros WLAN and LAN) from previous models that still have XP drivers available, under the Acer Support website, or, if you're lucky, Windows Update might yield the results you need.

Thanks for the advice, I have managed to find the Intel Chipset, Video, Wireless, AMT drivers but can't work out which driver to use for the AHCI.
The intel download site isn't very clear, I have tried a few different drivers but get an error message.
    Thanks again for the help.

The AHCI Driver doesnt work on AO753.
Unless walnut tells us how to install it,because if i install it and change in BIOS then i get blue screen. If i change the driver only through device manager it is same results.I have read few forums and it is almost imposible to do it.

To use AHCI mode under XP, you'll need to integrate the text-mode AHCI drivers into your XP install disk (a free program called n-Lite http://www.nliteos.com will do this for you), then you'll need to reinstall XP with AHCI mode already enabled in the BIOS.

I used this guide to setup the AHCI driver after installing XP in IDE mode.

    http://blog.mytwocents.it/?p=11

I got my hardware version from the Windows 7 device manager - '3B29'.

'3B29' this is the code I put into the second .reg file, rebooted pc, switched bios to AHCI and it worked.

That's awesome!. I haven't used XP as a primary OS in a long time, so needless to say I haven't had to look for/find this information, I didn't think it would be possible. I'll have to put this nugget of wisdom into the wiki. Thanks!
