Acer Aspire One AO110 start-up issues

    My apologies in advance, I am not very knowledgeable about this stuff, I can get by, but I'm not very technical.

    My son has an Acer Aspire One AO110. He is unable to start it up - it either gets stuck on the Windows XP launch screen or when we hit the F2 button and try safe mode options or Last known Good Configuration, we get a list of drivers, then it freezes.

    Any idea what we can do? Thanks for your help!

    Maybe the best next step is to keep pressing F8 on boot. Should get you to a screen on which one of the options will say "Boot to last known good configuration".
