Last month I bought an Acer Aspire One AO725-0488. Everything seems to work fine, but when I am using it and it is idle, I hear a clicking/ticking sound every few seconds randomly. Sounds like the hard drive turning on/off. I can hear the fan running (or not) - not the same sound at all. If I have it do something HD intensive (virus scan, defrag) - no ticking at all. Afterwards it goes back to doing it randomly/most of the time. HD dying on me already?
