    Hello!
I am a bit frustrated, to say the least.
I have an Acer Aspire One D150. When I press the power button, the fan starts, then stops, black screen, power button on. --> Typical BIOS-IS-CORRUPTED-YOU-ARE-DOOMED kind of situation.
I have found on internet the site http://macles.blogspot.com/p/crisis.html which supposedly tells you what to do to blind-flash your bios.
    I have followed the instructions:
    1) Download the file
    2) place in FAT formatted USB key
    3) plug in usb
    4) unplug AC + battery
    5) press Fn+Esc
    6) plug in AC (Power button will flash red once)
    7) Press power button
At this point the netbook should flash bios and in a matter of 5 to 10 minutes it should restart.
This doesn't happen to me. When I follow the procedure, the netbook turns on, the fan doesn't stop turning (which is the only different thing) but nothing happens at all, even after as long as an hour. USB led is not flashing (indicating no activity at all). Does anybody have any idea what I should do? Did I do something wrong?
    Thanks heaps
