    1. DOS flash: Please reboot system to pure Dos mode. Then, execute "KAV60.BAT" batch file to update bios under pure Dos mode.
    2. Windows flash: Please click "KAV60125.exe" to update bios.

That is from the "READ ME" document in the BIOS downloaded from ACER website

My d250 died one day so I attempted to do a bios recovery via the usb methods. Ive tried all the ones mentioned here aswell as using the files compiled by stemcell on here but I still get a blank screen after it reboots. Ive changed the ram to a different one taken out of my hackintosh dell inspiron and still no luck. when I go to work tomorrow Im going to try one last time with the ram.
Im onto acer support as I have 200 days left on my warrenty and im hoping it will be a free repair!

Ive performed many bios ressurections on lots of AA1's (not a d250 though) so im confused as to why its not working for me. New mobo's are expensive so its pointless buying one when I could just get a working AA1 for £80 off ebay :D
