This isn't my touchscreen pic. It's a google pic.

I know that is needed a VERY LITTLE gap between the two screens.
When i apply the touch screen on the LCD, also with double face tape, the TOUCH SCREEN make contact with the LCD screen.
They "touch theirself", only into the center, giving the result i've posted before (from a google pic example).

    Actually i use a biahdesive tape <1mm....
    Maybe it's too thin?

Remember, no wet or sticky LCD, only very little distance, make that the center of the touch screen goes physically in contact with the LCD, producing this effect.... (where there is the bubble, no air is between the two screens)

    Sorry for my poor english!

I understand what you are saying don't worry!

What I am trying to say is that it shouldn't look like that ;)
If the tape you use is too thick, you not only increase the risk of cracking your screen but you may not be able to get the bezel back on! You should be able to put that screen right on top of your LCD without anything between them and it should look even right across the screen.
Perhaps you have a defective screen? I'm not sure.

Ok guys, i've all working now.... only a "damage": i've breaked the two clips who block the screen frame in the lower part...:

The right side closes well where is the touch screen connector, the left side doesn't want to close; i've opened several times the frame, and have breaked the clips....
I will post a photo, there's a cable under the LCD, i've fitted it well, but no chances to have a perfect joint..

that's the same kit i just got for £35+s&h, i've contacted the seller about the install guide and drivers and i'll let you know how i get on, though i think the guide posted here>> http://www.fidohub.com/productfile/acerinstall.pdf will give you a good start, and as for the rubber adhesive you could replace it with electricians insulating tape or kapton tape ;)

You should be able to reverse ribbon cable relationship in the 4 pin ZIF connector.

But you still have to have some way to calibrate. Have you installed the OSX drivers?

I need help.... i have finally fitted the BT into my aspireone.... but the PC doesn't recognize it!! (unknown USB device, VID0&PID0)

Also if i try to install BT drivers, have no luck!!..
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the usb touch controller, but no luck with BT.... (it's USB 2.0, EDR)
Also i've tried to change the mini-usb connector to another port on the touchscreen hub.
Ps: my webcam goes well plugged into USB hub.

    What should i do?

Assuming you have the solderless kit with usb hub...

Try the bluetooth in one of the external USB ports, if it works?, then I would suspect that the power supplied to the TS/USB hub is less then 5 volts. (I had read it was 3.3 volts)

You could consider a different source for the 5 volts to power everything.

yes it works, i have already seen..

So i have to solder the + pin of an external USB port to the + pin of the BT key !?
    ...what a solderless !!!
I've checked the Specs of the USB key... it is 5V :(

I am not sure an external USB port would be my first choice. There are a number of places on the motherboard to get 5 volts from.

People have reported finding bluetooth adapters which work on the solderless TS/USB hub. I guess it depends on whether it can operate at a lower voltage.

    my question is..:

I don't sold well, expecially in small points. I think that the USB connection are at a good distance to not make damages.......

so, if (inside) i sold to the +5v USB external port a wire, who goes to my BT dongle:

    - Can i use that usb port? (i assume YES)
    - should be ok ?

-why this is not your first choice??? remember, i am very inexpert "solder-man" !!!

Yes, if you only add a wire to the 5 volt line of the external usb port, the external usb port will still work.

Not my first choice because the power used for the bluetooth takes away from the total available at that port, and the usb ports are not easy to run wires to internally. I would use the location called out in this guide viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1927
it is located on the top of the motherboard, so it should be easier to get to.
