Acer Aspire One - Internet security

    I have just bought an AcerAspire One - it runs on Linux.
    What do I do to get a firewall set up?
    My desktop is protected by Zone Alarm and my other laptop has a tesco Internet Security, but these only apply to Microsoft Windows and are not appropriate for Linux - can someone point me in the right direction please??
