    That would be a real shame IMHO. :shock: For me, and many others I have seen on this forum, this is our first exposure to Linux and it isn't (by any means) all bad. I am happy to have a fast boot up time, more ruggedness and better battery life thank you!

    The already existing Linux configurations will still be available, but the focus is apparently shifting towards XP on newer models.

    Bah I wanted a black one since I saw it on the site. The 6-cell battery is just icing.

    I'm happy with my blue one with Linux. I could always hock my blue one for some $$ for the black one. Who cares if it has XP on it? Just wipe the drive and install linux. You're left with a linux laptop and extra license of XP. Double win.

    i bought blue. it's the perfect color. the dual color of black and blue is BEAUTIFUL. i won't go black. pure black is just too... boring. pure black should be in on thinkpads and business machines. this is not a business machine.

    i'll bet it's glossy back casing.....oh boy big fingrtprint magnet...I already have enough trouble wth just the bezel :roll:
    but yes very very nice...if it had a white kb like my seashell One tho.....I'd be tempted.

    Agreed all black is to biz-like :|
