Acer Aspire One User MANUAL

I am planning to purchase the Acer Aspire One and would like to have a look at the User Manual first. I have checked a number of ACER websites and have been unable to find any download or support section for this model. Can anyone supply a URL where I can download the user manual? Where do you go for BIOS updates?

Acer's website(s) are pretty appalling, I'm afraid. Here's one support location, but it lacks manuals: http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/no ... e_110.html . I have a pdf manual, but can't remember if I downloaded it, or it came with the package.

I went to http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/no ... e_110.html and found http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/no ... e_150.html is also available. As you said, no manuals but there was a link for the FTP site. On this site there is a German manual available.

If anyone has a link to an English version I would be very grateful.

If it's anything like the print manual, I'm afraid you will be a little disappointed. I think the manual is a work in progress for Acer, unlike the AAO which is a masterpiece of sorts.

but the acer aspire one is not featured on this site http://support.acer-euro.com/documents/manuals.html
Like the man says the actual manual is probably "work in progress"

Unfortunately the file still will not unrar. Winrar gives the following errors (same as I got with the ZIP file):

! C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Local Settings\Temp\AAO_UserGuide.rar: CRC failed in UserGuide.pdf. The file is corrupt
! C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Local Settings\Temp\AAO_UserGuide.rar: Unexpected end of archive

I tried another program and got similar errors. If you have the time to again ZIP or RAR the file I would really like to get this manual.
