Acer Aspire One Win XP hangs into a endless loop.

    Acer Aspire One Win XP hangs into a endless loop.

    Several times a week my computer goes into a endless loop and the keyboard and touchpad is "locked out" and is of no further use. The only way to exit from this hang up or endless loop is to press the power off button to reboot which is very very annoying.

    I believe this is either a hardware,software or driver problem but I cannot seem to fix it - any help ?

    Note: I am up to date on my virus, malware, adware scanning.

    Did you install anything before this happened? Any hardware mods? Can you start in Safe Mode? Does it hang in Safe Mode? Have you tried restoring your installation? Have you updated the BIOS?
