acer aspire vs sony reader

    I've been looking at the new Sony reader; you can download books from the library for free. Great for traveling. Started to think why can't I download books on the Acer? I could download videos from the library as well, which you can't view on the reader. Has anyone downloaded books to read on the Acer? If so, how is the screen? Can you view a page at a time or do you have to scroll left and right, up and down? Thanks. There doesn't seem to be that one product yet that does it all.
