Does anyone know of a way to turn off the acer bio protection? It seem the only way I can get rid of it is to uninstall it totally, which I dont really want to do as I may use it later. But at the moment I have a friend using my laptop, and everytime he needs to use it, I have to scan my finger to be able to turn the laptop on.

How can there not be an option on a piece of software to turn it off?? Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe your talking about an AAO since I have never heard of an AAO coming with a finger print reader. However! there should be something in the BIOS settings since computers are generally setup to allow more than one person to use the computer.
