    ?
if its the word "debt" wou wanted ...

    windows 7
loads more services and the Dynamic-link library "DLL" files are larger.
    Hence longer boot times

Fedora 11 dual boot with Win XP. 5.4 GB of data on Fedora partition. Power on to desktop= 36 seconds with wireless net connection. Power off to complete shut down 11 seconds. Can trim off some time by disabling some services but I'm satisfied with the speed for now. :)

i tryed Vlite did not like it ......
so i went for a Complete rebuild of the OS as in the DLL's and alot of the Exe's i edited alot of crap out of them that was not needed
so basicly thay came out smaller .
But to go step by step with you in txt it would be way to mutch to explane.
basicly the full install now has 3 options now

#1 Complete Install :6gig full install
#2 "Micro" Install :2.3 Gig install
#3 selective Install "install components from a list" : Depends on the components you install.

    thats for windows 7

    for my xp
I Totally Re built xp to XpProMceLH-4074.193
it took me about 6 months to complete it with some good friends to help with trying builds of it.
I use it in my carpc.
the Typ. install of that is 950meg to 2Gig
Not a hack EVERY thing works.

I have not installed that yet on the acer's
    but will soon
